family pictures
So we're getting ready to have family pictures taken and I don't know why but the stress of figuring out what everyone is going to wear is keeping me up at night! Finally my sister advised me that because of all that I've been through, what I should do is pick out my favorite outfit and then plan around that...BRILLIANT! Now, what is my favorite outfit...oh, it still doesn't fit because my triplet gut is still hanging out there! AARGH! I think I'll get off the computer and go make an appointment with a plastic surgeon!

Who are you?
So my cluster map showing who has viewed my blog has been reset because it's been a year since I set it up. I think that's kind of cool. However, it says that 32 people have visited in the past 3 days, all in the US, but no one has left comments or anything and it leaves me to wonder who is viewing my blog!!! Do I know you are you just surfing blogs? Do you find my info interesting? How can I better meet your information hunger? ha ha ha of course I'm joking but really, if you are viewing my blog I'd love a comment or something because I don't get very many and so it leaves me to wonder who out there is reading up on us? Or maybe you're checking to see if I've updated it. Newsflash--I don't have very much free time!

Nine Months!

Hannah, Eden, Bella top to bottom
Can you believe the girls are already 9 months old??? They are going to be toddlers before I know it. They are so adorable...giggling and laughing and lighting up when I go in to get them out of their cribs in the morning. I love being their mom. Their personalities are so different and it's fun to see them grow. Hannah is quiet and lovey-dovey, Bella is full of ambition and a go-getter, and Eden is the spunky, party girl, always ready for a laugh! I'm torn between wanting them to grow and develop and wanting to stop time. I always said that it's a good thing that kids grow up fast because if they slowed down I'd never make it through the parenting years, but I'm trying to enjoy every day to its fullest. I crash each day around 7 p.m. still because I don't have quite enough energy yet to make it through an entire day. The other day my mom asked me if perhaps I was having some post-partum depression. Nope, just sleep deprivation and a million things on my to-do list! After all, I'm only one mom.

We Love the Park!

Hannah is so happy to be out of the house!

"Here we go!" Hannah and Haylee about to slide

You can tell Eden has moved on and is ready to head to the next activity, can't you?! Tyson and Ben are such good big brothers! She's in good hands.

"Are you sure about this, Tanner?" asks Bella.

Eden is caught in the act of picking grass while Bella, the only one crawling as of this date, is marooned on a blanket, a little fearful of the grass.
For a family night activity we went to a nearby park and had a great time! In today's crazy, busy world where everything is so expensive and seems so far away or so inconvenient or requires so much planning it's a good reminder to us that we can pick up at a moment's notice and head to the park and have a fun time with free play! The kids loved taking their baby sisters on the slides, the boys enjoyed throwing the football (I even participated in that for a minute, reliving my powderpuff days, if only for a moment), Eden discovered grass and its smell, texture and taste...again and again and again. Bella thought it was so funny when I dug the grass out of Eden's mouth while saying "Gross, Eden, yucky! Ew! Yuck! Don't eat the grass!" And do you know what I enjoyed the most??? Watching my kids giggle and laugh and PLAY together without the interruptions of computers, video games, or cell phones! Oh, and of course the babies are getting so fun now! I think we're getting the hang of this huge family thing!
New Camera!

Eden is watching the other kids play, wondering how they make their legs move like that! Oh, and she absolutely refuses to leave her bow on, so bald is what you get!

Bella has turned into a cheesy grinner! We love her cute grins, which are always accompanied by a silly cheesy sound!

Hannah has become the little gal whose eyes are always watching, so be careful what you do or say! Very often I will catch her watching me from across the room...

I have been so wanting to get a new camera ever since the babies were born and so finally for my birthday I lumped all the gift money from the past few holidays and forked it up for a new Nikon Camera and I am so excited! I can't let this time pass me by without taking great photos of the kids! So here is an 8 month photo of the girls. This was taken in my parents' backyard, where the grass is actually green (as opposed to our grass here at our house, where the sprinkler system is all messed up but no one has time or energy to address it!). These cute dresses were given to the girls by their Aunt Lisa! Thanks, Lisa!
