My family posted cute noted on my wardrobe so that I could feel their love even though they couldn't be there with me all the time.

This is my home...I mean bed. I lived here for 2 weeks before the babies were born. Do you like how my tummy peeks out from under my shirt? Well, when you get as big as I was, there aren't maternity clothes that fit.

On my way to get my non-stress test. They should call it a "cause the mother stress-test" because that's exactly what it did--cause me tremendous stress. It even brought me to tears at times because laying on the bed I couldn't even breathe and was in pain. I know, I'm just beautiful. You can wipe the drool off your chin now.

Ben and I had breakfast in bed shortly before I was admitted to the hospital. He'll never be able to say I wasn't around the year he was 4!
One year ago I was in the hospital on bedrest, having my blood pressure checked every 3 hours, taking medication to stop labor, having the babies monitored every three hours, having stress tests every other day (which were a nightmare), eating terrible food that all tasted the same, with the highlights of my day being the single visit from Dave and the morning and evening visits from Dr. Terry. Many of you were so sweet to come spend time with me to try to help pass the time. Many of you brought dinner to my family or brought me REAL FOOD so that my taste buds could awaken for a few minutes.
One of my favorite memories from my hospital stay occured one Sunday morning when the Church members brought me the sacrament. They read a verse from "The Lord is My Shepherd" and tears streamed down my face. I was overcome with joy and humbled to be taking the sacrament and realized that because I had been on bedrest so long that I hadn't partaken of the sacrament in months. I appreciated those sweet people so much for caring enough to share that moment with me. I'll never forget the feeling of being in such a state of suffering and thinking about Jesus Christ in Gethsemane and knowing that somehow He could know of the pain and condition I was in and feel it and I was reminded that I was not alone.
We are never alone. And we survive. I survived!
