I finally got up the courage to get family pictures taken! It actually went surprisingly well, and we've been awaiting the proofs for over a month. I got them back 2 days ago, hurried home, slapped them in my computer, and VOILA! Here you go...the Dave and Julie Tate Family in the fall of 2009! ALL 9 OF US! Of course, if I posted them all, then there wouldn't be any room for a written post.
You may be wondering how on Earth we got everyone to cooperate! Well, I've discovered that the faster you can get the pictures done, the better it goes. Also, taking your kids to a location that is filled with many interesting things to look at helps, also. My boys in particular were so occupied looking at all of the antique things at this location that they had a much harder time finding things to fight about. Don't worry, it wasn't flawless--but I'll spare you the details. I'm so relieved they turned out like they did!
